Capo Plaza

Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, also known as Palaeur after the name of the neighborhood that hosts it, was designed in 1956 for the Games of the 17th Olympics in Rome in 1960. In 2003 the structure became a multi-purpose space, thanks to a substantial redevelopment that gives it an avant-garde aesthetic impact and functionality for major sporting and musical events such as the James Blunt concert, while preserving its original architectural values. The large-sized architecture has a circular shape while the external surface covers 20.000 sqm. It also has a beautiful terrace of 2.400 sqm, overlooking the Eur lake. Palazzo dello Sport in Rome is the only Italian structure, together with the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, to be a member of the European Arenas Association, which brings together the 36 major European multifunctional structures.
