PalaMaggetti, also known as Palasport Remo Maggetti, is a sports arena of Roseto degli Abruzzi.
PalaMaggetti hosts the home matches of basketball team Pallacanestro Roseto.
Inaugurated on 18 August 1978 with the opening ceremony of junior European men’s basketball, PalaMaggetti can host 4.500 spectators. It is the biggest covered sports facility in the province of Teramo and one of the biggest in Abruzzio. It can host basketball competition, volleyball competition (Volley Pineto in Serie A1 in 2009/2010), handibasket (Polisportiva Amicacci Giulianova in Serie A in 2019/20) and other events. PalaMaggetti also hosted the basketball games of XVI Giochi del Mediterraneo.
From 11 February 2004 the sports arena is named after Remo Maggetti, historic player from Roseto, winner of two league titles (1960/1961, 1963/1964) and one International Cup (1966) with Pallacanestro Varese, passed away in 2003.
