Simple Minds - 40 YEARS OF HITS TOUR 2020

The Ancient Theatre of Taormina is the second largest ancient theatre in Sicily after the Greek Theatre of Syracuse. This Greek-Roman theatre would have a Hellenistic origin and since the 50s it has been used as an open-air theatre structure for various forms of performances including theatre, David di Donatello award ceremonies, symphonic concerts, opera and ballet. Today the theatre, in addition to being used as a tourist venue, is therefore used for concerts: including seats and parterre, the capacity of the theatre amounts to 10.000 spectators. Over the years, artists such as James Blunt, Mika, Sting and Ben Harper have performed.
